For waterproofing

Aquaflex Roof 99 Plus may be applied on:

▪ Ceramic and stone;

▪ Cementitious screeds and screeds made using special binder (Topcem Pronto and Topcem Pronto 305);

▪ Concrete;

▪ Metal sheet roofing;

▪ Old bituminous membranes;

▪ Galvanised sheet, copper, aluminium, steel and iron.

Mapei Aquaflex Roof 99 Plus is a ready-to-use waterproof coating for outdoor use.

It is fiber-reinforced and made from water-based synthetic resin.

Resistant to sun (UV) and weather, giving long-lasting protection.

Easy to apply with a roller or brush on flat, sloped, or vertical surfaces.

After drying, it forms a strong, seamless, and flexible waterproof layer.

The surface becomes non-sticky when dry.

Can handle light foot traffic occasionally.

Flexible, so it can withstand movement from temperature changes or vibration.

Surface Preparation

The surface must be strong, clean, and dry.

Remove oil, grease, dust, old paint, rust, or mould.

Grind smooth any sharp or rough parts.

Concrete or cement must be solid with no loose parts or rising damp.

Repair holes or cracks before applying.

Remove any wax or water-repellent coating by washing or sanding.

The surface should have a slight slope (1:120) so water will not pond.

Priming

New concrete: Apply a thin priming coat first and let it dry (about 30 minutes at 30°C).

Old or porous concrete: Use Primer G at about 0.2–0.3 kg per m².

CONSUMPTION

▪ 0.3 kg/m for priming coat.

▪ 0.65 kg/m for neat coat.
